Can't help with the actual bolt size but my standard bobbins which came with the Scorpion rear stand hooks fit perfectly. How do you like the bike? Mine's a 749s and I couldn't be happier.

FWIW, Termis which fit a 2003 749 will not fit onto a 2005 bike due to design changes on the bike at the rear end.

This is as clear cut a case for a goodwill warranty as I have seen. Ducati should pay for the bike to be restored to "As New" including replacement plastics. That is what a class company would do....
