There is a tiny trap door with a connector in it, but its too tiny to get the kit into. :confused:

Can anyone tell me if the spanner i need for the fuel sensor nut on the bottom of the fuel pump is 36mm or 35mm?

quick update - The fault turned out to be one of...

My 996 fuel pump doesn't prime now when the ignition is turned on. Is there a common issue that causes this, before I start digging about? I haven't done anything at all to the bike since I last rode...

Top Yolk Removal

Hi,

If I want to remove top yolk, am I right in thinking that I don't need to remove the forks?

Just undo the fork clamp bolts, the pinch bolt at the back of the yolk and remove the steering...

I got a couple of 1.5mm plates from Baines Racing...

I got a couple of 1.5mm plates from Baines Racing (who were very helpful) and fitted them. Now all is good :-)

My clutch plates are only about 600 miles old and the stack height is correct, so I know i'm all right there.

I put the old lever back and made sure the push rod adjustment...

Can anyone please tell me the distance the pressure plate should move out when the clutch lever is pulled fully in?

I've heard that the movement should only be 1 - 1.2 mm
