ive had similar. it was the earth to the crankcase worked loose, situated by the rear brake fluid resevoir. i cant remember whether i got a click from the solenoid though.

forgot 2 say, my rear brake works brilliantly,make sure you take the caliper off and bleed it with the bleed nipple facing upwards. you will struggle to bleed it properly in situ. hope this helps.

see your local snap on man, blue point canister tool, part number 76-8 fits ducati filters. costs about £12.00 +v.a.t . you can even torque the new filter up with it. theres some monkey on ebay...

i use 32 front 34 rear on the road and 30 front 29 rear on trackdays with sc1 fr sc2 rear and have never had a problem. they are the best tyres ever produced in my opinion and suit the ducati...

sorry forgot to say,get yourself a slipper clutch and change the belts regular and you won't have many problems. i'm lucky and do it all myself would hate to have to pay some of the dealer prices.
