Have to tidy up the rear as well with a number plate relocator.

Got to say i am shocked how well it handles, so much easier to turn than the 748 or...

Got it !

Well picked up a 749 yesterday....road it home around 120 miles and i've got a permanent grin :D. Its not my first Duke but it handles and goes so well. I'm really suprised how comfortable it is....

I have never had the trouble before...owned a 748 for three years and had the 996 for two years..but fitted a 50mm half system recently so maybe heat has something to do with it ?

Bled my rear brake today which had become useless....is there a better way? Not sure even now if all the air is out with the bleed nipple on the bottom !

Arrows...fitted

Fitted my new cans today...a pic.The baffle looks easy to remove but the bike already sounds more like a Ducati should.
Can't wait to get out and try it...:bouncy:

Well decision made..today i have ordered a pair of 50mm Arrow road approved cans with 45/50mm link pipe....they have a removable baffle so race and road all in one :eureka:

When i fitted the DP hugger to my 748 it rubbed the tyre resulting in a hole..i repaired this and now the same hugger on my 996 is fine with plenty of clearance...:puzzled:

Mine has the larger later type cans..so maybe the only difference is the pipework?? Looks like it's going to have to be to be 50mm race cans with the inserts.

Well gone and bought one.Its a 600, 2000/W, only done 3100 miles and almost as new.:D Goes quite well but sooo quiet will have to remedy this i think....So gonna try to find some used cans and fit...

Which Monster ?

I am looking to buy a monster for use through much of the winter.Which is the model/cc to go for.Don't really want to run to S4 or anything that new.So its 600/750 or 900.Will be a carb model....
