I wouldn't fit them based on what I've seen from various accidents. A mate of mine had some on his SP1 and they bent back and put a hole in the radiator which put an end to the track day....

I've heard the same thing about the carbon ones. I would go for one of the cnc ones and even then I would probably replace it with the original for track days etc just in case! I already do it...
