Problem is that there is V little clearance between the exhaust downpipe and the bellypan so it becomes hot in that area,and I have a fully enclosed bellypan so weight will be a problem in the rain....

I remember you saying the the gap on yours was larger than the one I gave you. so would advise you check the gap on your old one NGK recommend a gap of 0.024 which is wider that standard spec....

What you need to do is take off the seat unit, undo the bottom subframe bolts and lift the subframe at little. This will give you enough space to swing the exhaust into place.
