Very nice bike Dave. Just not so sure about the frame colour, white just seems so right. As for no fast idle you'll get used to that, just wait until the clutch drags a bit when cold and no fast idle...

The SS cable fits better because its shorter, not such a tight bend, which I have been told is where they break. I had one on my last 888 fitted no probs.

You could try Harris performance in Hertford. They rebuilt mine years ago, sorted out a balls up by persons who have been mentioned!! The seals did go about a year or so later and they sent me a set...

I tend to agree with what fred say's except the undertrays, I made one up that followed the lines of the subframe gets rid of that horrible original one and cleans the lines of the rear beautifully....
