It's the 999 engined model... I previously had a 749 with a quick throttle grip (fitted at ProTwins) which was excellent. The monster's throttle twist travel seems to be huge!

Yeah I managed to find the lightweight alternative... Just a bit pricey really just for a battery (just about to loose a contract I'm working on and I'm skint :( )

The bike now has a very small flat spot around the 3k mark which the Dyno tech couldn't dial out... Apart from that the bike now pulls like a train through the rev range. I would say that it feels...

I remember looking into the difference between the R and standard termi system and keefy is right.
However I think you can get an adapter to sort this problem out... Don't quote me on that though :o

I had the full system done... Well Big Tips & De-Cat pipe. I had the bike fully Dyno'd at Road & Track and he never mentioned changing the CO2 settings on the bike and nor did the pip mod bloke......

I've just rung them and they are unwilling to Mod the 749 can.. They will quite happily do the 748 but not the 749. They also talked about SILMOTOR full system which looks the nuts as well as BOS...
