Try a bit of webbing, timing belt or similar....

Try a bit of webbing, timing belt or similar. Then wrap it around, get some mole grips or pump grips and squeeze the ends together and turn. Same type of principle as a oil filter tool.

The place I used Redditch shotblasters did all the masking for me. They used aluminum foil tape. It sticks like the perverbial and trims up with only the use of a flat blade.
