Front Sprocket

Does anybody know if the spline in the front sprocket is the same size as other Ducati's as I am using the rear sprocket from a 999 on the back wheel of my Monster but the chain is a different size...

bottom yoke spindle

Does anybody know how the spindle is held into the bottom yoke on the early 749/999 yokes as I need to remove it to fit a different size on my project bike.

Any help appretiated.
