I have switched back to the NGK plugs and fitted...

I have switched back to the NGK plugs and fitted a new regulator, when I took out the old ones they were as black as a black thing on the electrode bit. Does that mean it's running too rich?

ok cool, i'll check the plugs, fuel filter, breather pipes, it does feel like its running on one cylinder rather than a missfire...sorry to be a thickie but where would the throttle position sensor...

Bike Running Real Bad

Hi, just wondered if anyone has any obvious things to check....bike starts right on the button (888 Strada), but if it dies for any reason while I am riding it won't start, and I can smell fuel..it...

NGK Iridium

Bought some NGK Iridium plugs from www.powersparks.com but they came without the little silver bits that screw on the top. If you do the same, speak to Ron in the technical dept at NGK 01442 281000...

The front carbon fender on my 888 needs re-finishing as it's gone white in patches..if I rub it down a bit and re-laquer will it come up any good, or should I just source a newer one? or get it...

Thanks fellas, he has confirmed that they were fitted to a '93 Strada so they'll be fine. I bought the bike for just £3100 due to 8 Guinni and a bit of Ebay Tourrettes. I'll be adding the SP version...
