Shims?

where is the best place to buy some shims?
I have measured all the clearences and now need to adjust accordingly but dont want to spend £150:eek: on a 2v kit for 5 shims.

anyway in the end i put jump leads on to it from the van and the original plugs in and eventually it went. i think the cold had a lot to do with as carbs were set when it was hot and i've found a few...

last weekend my 583 was a bitch to start, after whipping the plugs out and cleaning and warming them she went and was fine all saturday.
sunday morn and it eventually fired, again fine all...

just finished fitting a t8 shock to my 97 m600 and the only thing you have to do is slightly slacken the banjo bolt on the top of the shock that connects the hose to it then tap it carefully through...

it could be that the crankcase breather pipe has split and is venting around that area leaving a film that burns off after a while.
