Finally decided to sell my 1991 half faired, white framed 900ss, 25000 miles.

Honda mirrors !!

As requested I have attached some pics of the Honda VFR 750 (=CBR 600) mirrors fitted to my SS. It may be heresy but the view is much better than standard - they still vibrate a bit though.

The Brancato extensions work OK but are ugly. I have fitted VFR 750 (CBR 600) pattern mirrors - needs an extra screw hole in the fairing but they work well.

Most of the oil should already have drained back...

Most of the oil should already have drained back into the sump. Suggest you remove the oil cooler (undo the pipe unions at the cooler) and then tie the lines in a position above the sump using cable...
