You don't need 10 bar for your impact wrench. They work on volume of air not air pressure. All you do is **** the wrench quicker if you use it above 90psi (6 bar).

The 749/999 bearings are in the swinging arm like the 748/9**, so that isn't a problem.
The engine mounting bolts are larger on the 749, but that just means that the engine mount holes in the frame...

The engine case is too wide at the swinging arm mount. The ST4 has bearings in the engine casings (like the monster) and the 748/9** has them in the swinging arm. I read about a guy who had the...

It might be spare on the 748. If Ducati used a common loom with the 996, then it could be to connect to the second injectors, which you don't have.

The standard 1.6M cannot fire two injectors at all. For 955 even with G cams, twin injectors aren't necessary unless you are after race bike revs. Just get a good exhaust!

You'd need the 1.6M B1 ecu, but it can't fire the injectors on the same cylinder sequentially likw the P8. I think it was SP or SPS that had this set up.
I'd be more concerned about the exhaust side.

I agree, but this has got both. Air receivers for vehicles (like Air brake tanks on trucks) have a different design code to one that you find in industry, to enable them to withstand crash damage....

The big thing for me is I wouldn't want to be sitting on an air receiver with 40 bar (600 psi) in it. Thats a lot of stored energy should anything go wrong!

Thats really interesting (especially to a compressed air engineer like me), but there has got to be easier (and cheaper) ways to get 100hp out of a DS motor.
