Yep i agree the magnetic oxford works well, done pyrenees twice with it.
Would be intrested in comments on the ventura system though, like does it fit with termis and does it not sit a bit high...

Fuel pipes seem to be running in the channels ok, just going to keep an eye on them.
By the way i've had no prob's with the bike till now and can't wait for better weatherto get riding again.

fuel leak

thought i would go 4 a spin on my 05 999 on saturday. It started on the button, but strong smell of fuel, looked down towards the floor to see petrol ****ing out all over my exhaust.
Turned it off...

Just got back from Andorra on my 999 did the same...

Just got back from Andorra on my 999 did the same trip on a 749 last year. Had no problem comfort even after 8 hours riding, bike did'nt miss a beat and made it home!.

I had the Casoli one on my 749(the big red one)...

I had the Casoli one on my 749(the big red one) for 2 years without problem just use loctite on the number plate bolts. Just ordered one for my 999. They also do a led light which im going to order.

2005 999 termis

Took my 05 999 to the dealers a week ago for 600 mile service and termis to be fitted. Came home on a loan bike, termis did'nt fit.
apparently the 2005 is a complete system, the 57mm link pipes snag...

Yeah can't make my mind up, The Termis do look like they should be there though. A bit concerned the Leo Vinces look a bit bolted on and could attract unwanted attention from the police.

I think the dealer is doing all they can to help. what i mean about the mileage is there are a lot of people out there that only do 1500 miles or so a year.

Gone up 2 on rear as 749 is already 14 on front, Makes town riding easier, plus far more pull right through gears with very little change to top end.
Don't know if you need it on a 999 though.

The bike is 2 years old. no engine mods, the noise is a loud clanking just of tickover, which you feel right through the bike. It does still start ok though.

Just got home by RAC recovery after 3hr wait. First good ride of the year came to a halt 30 miles from home. After a quick blast up a hill eased of, went to accelerate again no power just horrible...

Hi my 749 stalls occassionally at junctions, but i have got termi's fitted. In for it's 12month service next month.[this is my first posting on message board].
