If its causing you a head ache buy a standard end can on eBay they are 10 to the dozen and can pick em up cheap. I think most bikers ride with race cans on but choose not to tell the insurance.

Anyone know anything about racing slicks?

My 749 came with pirelli diablo's on, they felt fantastic ,super sticky lots of feedback but seem to wear out extra fast. Was thinking of venturing into slicks but have no idea which brand to try....

Mine did this even with a fully charged battery , turned out to be a poorly attached earth to the battery. Worth giving it a tug and seeing if it comes off

Well it's not a full system by the sounds of it, it's a half system with decat pipe . Little bit of damage ,but I'm not moaning for £75!! Bargain of the century!

the earth lead on the battery is a common problem, the wire comes loose from the connecter and can cause intermitant problems, mine it would start only when it felt like it. just cleaned up the parts...

never mind, all done. discovered the plastic cap...

never mind, all done. discovered the plastic cap on the other side of the swing arm is part of the sunk-in bolt . a heavy hand and some swearing later and shes all done, super super tight though!!
