for info:
new friction plates are 3.0mm with a wear limit of 2.5mm
and
2.0mm and 1.5mm steel plates should only need replacing if they are warped or scored

And you'll most probably find they'll be cheaper than on the internet because you wont get stung the P&P.

As said above - just be carefull not to let the panel get TOO hot...
