Not run the 998 for a while and went to start it at the weekend and as soon as I put the ignition on the alarm fizzed did a decent impression of a smoke generator.:(

I used "soft" rear pads on my 998 to get a back brake that was better than dragging my foot on floor and they didn't last more than 3-4 thousand...
