There is only one obvious mark for the drive pulley, but I'm not sure where the camshaft pulleys should be facing.

Is the manual small enough to email?

I'm trying to get a 749 back on the road. When I bought it, it had no timing belt on the horizontal cylinder, and I don't know how to get TDC. Can anybody tell me where the dots should all be...

If you can fit the exhaust, you should be able to change the ecu. I can send pic's if you want help tracking it down, as mine is stripped down at the moment.

It is behind the battery on the left...

Using the red key for the first time

I've just bought a new ECU, red key and speedo for my 749 and intend fitting it this weekend. Does anybody know the procedure for using the red key for the first time?

Timing Belt

Does anybody know if the timing belts on a 749 are the same as for any cars.

Call me tight but Renault belts are about £15 each whereas Ducati charge £45 each for the same thing.:flame:
