Just got my 05 749 back from the dealer for the same problem. Turned out to be unburnt fuel in the rear cylinder which was from worn valve guides. Ducati supplied the replacement head under warranty....

Could someone advise me of tyre pressures for a Monster S2R.
Have one on loan and the front end felt horrible, Front was only 25PSI, increased to 36, but would like to know what they should be. Cheers

I think as a precaution I will tape the relevant frame parts. Although the VW touch up stick I have on the shelf is a surpriseingly good match I would rather not have to use it.
