from wot i can see it's only the alternator cover thats damaged, rang ducati dublin today...

was wondering if this has happened to anyone here? theres a crack just above the sprocket cover with oil leaking out:(

anyone any idea of the cost for getting this fixed

i'm told the 998 ECU is sealed and there for can not take a chip?? was thinking about a power commander but seen the cans and ECU on ebay and thought it would be cheaper

what would you expect to get from a 2002 998bp? had mine flatout and only got 145mph (on a private road ofcourse:cool: )

i got more out of my 748 so i'm begining to think all is not right with it!...

i recently got a 2002 998bp and was wondering why my wheels say brembo on the inside of the spokes??? they have marchesini stickers on the rim:puzzled:

i think it is jim, i used it on my '99 748 bp and it made a difference. saying that the guy who owned my bike before me had everything as soft as he could get it. i used the settings from that...

micheal it's a '99 748,the stand was spring loaded, the dealer i bought it of told me it was modded not to flick up on it's own.

i was putting the rain cover on my 748 tonight and the side stand gave way!!

luckily it fell against a fence so the damage isn't as bad as it could have...

what are the differences (a part from the price!) between an ohlins 46PRXB and 46PRC shock?

i assume that the cheaper one comes on all the "stantard" ohlins models e.g 748r and so on
