748 front tyre sizes

looking to buy a pair of tyres for my 748 but most places are only able to offer a front in the 120/70-ZR17 size

paul - your right about the little "half-moon" cut outs - strange that there does not seem to be a reason for these to line up.

i will just polish up the drive plates, but will de-glaze the clutch...

Simple question -

Is it only JHP who make the ally clutch plates, or are there certain duke's which have them as standard

i'm replacing the plates in my 748 and want to fit the ally ones...

Guy's - i have got to do some work on the clutch of my 748 (new plates)

i have not got a workshop manual, so could some kind person please let me know the torque figure for the spring cap bolts...

WSB style bellypan

Since my little "off" I have been thinking about fitting a WSB style long bellypan to the bike.

question is how much fitting is required, as I know that the fairing lowers would need cutting to...

Open clutch cover

Have a search on the old message board as there are many pro's/con's answered about open covers

as for keeping it dry whilst washing - try a showercap over the cover ;)

only problem with replacing one's at the front is the way that they bolt to the air tubes by using a "lug"

most aftermarket stuff only has a threaded end ( as per the rear units)

only decent...
