i had the same thing happen to me. bolt from the tank bracket fell into the throttle body of the vertical cylinder & got wedged between the head & valve. i replaced 1 bent valve & 1 broken closing...

want to relocate the battery on my 916 and have found the 998/999 battery is a fair bit smaller dimension wise.

the last chain i fitted to my 916 was an endless type (after i snapped 2 with soft links)

took bloody ages, had to remove swinging arm etc, but it gave me a bit more peace of mind:D

they were VERY thorough. their mechanic spotted & rectified faults before they turned into major problems.

couldnt recomend them enough mate...
