Thanks for your suggestions and spot on to KeefyB - the neutral wire was loose! Does not seem to really go in well at all. Never mind all is good now...

Yeah that makes sense, I was thinking it must be something to do with neutral. Have been up and down the box a few times without seeing neutral but will try rolling it in gear - thanks!

Well don't know what's going on. Went to start the 749 after its monster layoff and... nothing. Charged battery in, dash lights up as it should and lights go out but neutral light goes out as...

Yeah that helps a lot... I now see why it would'nt work - the velcro pieces on both parts are the same! And I thought there was some big secret that I was missing... Jeez there are some clever people...

Got the mono subframe, plastics etc to convert my bi-p 749 and got a question. Do you bolt the front plastic to the seat and then attach the rear piece to it and then attach the seat back...

Yep, with davieravie on this one - Defendall do clear ones for there and the sides of the tank and you can hardly see them. You can get them sent to you so you can fit them yourself if you're nowhere...

Thanks guys. Still thinking of going mono as the best option but it ain't cheap... JHP have a Moto Corse rear subframe which might be worth a look but not sure what plastic bits go with it yet....
