| thanks chaps although I didnt see your posts before I got home tonight it confirmed what I thought I could see in the workshop manual.
It certainly could have been designed considerably simpler and with the exception of the indicators the nastiest cheapest part of a great bike.
Having read johnny's last paragraph I got a 19mm podger from my work bag and prised the spigot from the rubber locator grommet and now it is unbroken and free. I may well modify it before it goes back on. |
