well i've done it and got my certificate!
fairly laid back talk by ex racer on clothing, equipment, how to fill out the forms, what happens on race day and then on flags etc.,
multiple choice test at end is also laid back and really only there to check that the speaker has done his job ... no one failed !
acu office also easy to find and there's parking outside ... starts at 11 and runs to 3ish with a couple of tea/coffee breaks but no lunch so don't do as me and rush up there without breakie, get there late and then let your stomach rumble through the whole thing !
by the way they give out the cetificates there and then so if you have your licence signed by a club then i believe you can pick your licence up there at the end but best to check that ... special new era membership application forms will be sent out to all participants in next few days (special price of £25 instead of £30 )
