I remember, years ago when I were a lad (cue pipe and slippers moment!), I changed a car policy and was told there was no additional premium. I had the agent confirm this and call me back, which he did... so I made the change and bought the car. Upon renewal, 9 months later, I was asked why the addition £145 hadn't been paid!! Need I say I didn't pay it?
Didn't mean that to sound like a rant, but from my experience you ought to make sure that you've got something in writing. |
