Hi There,

I've got an issue with baby 'r' in that the left hand fan as you sit on the bike and EOBD light is permanently on (from turning the ignition).

The error code is 18.2 (RH fan grounded to earth) and 11.2 (coil shorted to earth) but I've pulled it to bits and there is no sign of any issues with the wiring. The local dealer told me that it could be the battery having a low voltage as it's been on the optimate for what seems like forever, but having coughed up £65 (yes he saw me coming but I wanted to get out while the weather was good) the error is still there.

Does any one have an idea where I should be looking next. Given the dealers last bit of advice I want to narrow down the options before I have to stump up a wad on labour charges.
