Don't know if the rules differ from a race day, but it's normally no noise after 23.30 and before 07.30. What you using it for? If to boil a kettle, the cafe is open from 7.30 anyway, if for warmers, you won't need them until 08.30 if in the fast group. If for light at night, just be considerate for other around you trying to get some sleep before the big day.

Monty will need his on at about 20.30 to boil a kettle for my Pot Noodle

However, if he's there earlier, I fully expect the fridge to be on cooling some beers

Have to say I HATE the blighters at race meetings, there are just so many of them and there is always someone having a party and going on late, then people turning up all night with engines going parking two inches from your caravan and then they start up at 0730 sharp, bar stewards.
