Loud....Very loud indeed more like.

One of the 'traditions' at the BMF show is to fire a few bikes up and rev em up a bit. I did this on Sunday with my 888 fitted with 'bora' cans - standard can but not much inside them.

It blew all the litereature about on the table about 3 feet behind the bike and was LOUD...much louder than the DP cans on my ST2.

The funny thing is I've never given it any beans when I've just been standing beside it before, I've always been kitted up with earplugs and my lid and been in motion before I've opened it up. I'm obviously aware that the exhausts are quite loud but when I'm on the bike the exhausts are nearly drowned out by the lovely induction roar from the open topped airbox. From 7K to the redline at 10K the airbox growl is utterly addictive, sometimes when I cruising along I change down just to hear it again.
