Yes - because the DSC run and promote the series, organise the sponsorship, pay for promotional items such as flyers, pay ACU registration fees, etc, etc.
If you're not a DSC member and registered for the series then you won't get out onto the grid!
I know it sounds a bit harsh that you have to pay additional membership costs to race in our series, but without the club there would be no series for you to race in. It's not a
lot of money either, and it is invested back into the series.
