| I am pretty sure that the SSie rear axle is 17mm. I will check in the morning. 900ssie/1000ssie/Monster S4 five spokers all fit. I've used all of them for my 800ss race bike. Also 3 spoke wheels fit too. Both sets of wheels (3 spoke & 5) fit both the 1000ss/800ss (02/03) style swinging arm and the older steel swinging arm.
IIRC the 900ssie chassis uses an underslung rear caliper - this may have some effect upon wheel choices, but I don't think so. I suspect the wheels I have listed will fit your swinging arm.
I have 3 sets of wheels - if you can get yourself and bike up here you are free to check fitments using mine to ensure you don't make any expensive mistakes!
