Boys - wasn't the best of weekends. Piggin miles to get there 6.5 hours - and weather tit's up.
Sat went well - got a real good set up and mega power on the RS. Apart from one race where he locked up front end @ 100 mph plus - in standing water...) We've been sorting out the fuel mapping with the new dataloggin gear and Phil was very confident of getting a decent result. Sunday Qualifing went well ( dry ) managed 13th overall - 1 sec odd splitting 13th / 6th place. Then 10 mins before Phil was due out it ****ed it down. Just managed to change tyres to full wets but failed to remap fuel ( lower power / smoother power del ). Just couldn't put any power down exiting corners - most times it was lock to lock ( Bev would of got a ride for Oxford Speedway no probs .. ). Back end was just spinning up so continued for a few more laps and then called it a day. Bikes were being dropped like wild fire, so played safe.
Oh well one of those weekends again. But we've got more data to work on ( and a mint dry fuel map ) so we have to keep having a go.
Cadwell in two weeks and a TD on the 24th / 25th so it'll be busy as normal. Best result over the weekend was Man U stuffin the Gunners. Anyone want to barter for some tickets ?? I need 2.
