| I checked mine at 6,000 miles and had two valves total that were out of spec and needed adjusting. Funny thing, it was the left intake opener on both cylinders. Everything else was dead center of the specs!! I will always check them every 6,000 but odds are they'll never need adjusting again...from what I've heard.
