Get him to take a look at the regulator/rectifier wiring behind the battery. The connecting block (white jobbie) should be clean and dry, and the wiring leading to and from it should be in good condition. In an ideal world you should replace the wire coming from the stator for a higher guage, and redo the connectors at the reg/rec. This isn't a service thing, but whilst its there, perhaps its worth mentioning?

Alternator nut tightening to correct torque and loctited.

I don't know what Dave Woods is like for servicing, but if they are any good, the rest should be done as a matter of course.
