I have 18 mm of fork leg showing above the yoke and on the road I had no problems at all. On the track however it led to even worse ground clearance problems to the point where I discovered what it felt like to fly....
(Note to self must hang off even more...)
With the rear shock off of a later SS on though (One from an SSie) I didn't experience any problems (On the one outing I had like it). I guess I'll find out for sure once it warms up a bit...
