| No news. Still waiting for Ducati's reply about the history of the bike and all the warranty issues solved.
Regarding the price, the situation was quite funny. The ducati dealer said it was for sale at 22.000 eur, BUT is posted at his internet site for 20.900 eur. Without starting a negatiation by my part he said straight away he could go down to 20.000 eur!.
I found brand new 999R '05 ducati's in Germany for 25.500 eur and '04 models for 20.000eur., just for comparison.
Once I know more about the bike, I'll make the guy an offer, probably in between 15K to 18k euros.... depends on parts discounts, extended warranty cost, and so on..... we'll see
My major concerns is the reputation of the german dealer as a mechanic, since he rebuild the engine. I'm trying german forums to get feedback from this dealer..... |
