| I've had two ultimap chips in the 996 the first was a straight swap for the DP chip a UM196 this knocked the 6bhp off the top end but made the engine run smoother. After contacting ProVtwins it was discovered that the wrong chip had been supplied and they swapped it for a UM222, single injector chip. Once this was fitted the bike pulls harder from any revs runs smoother with no coughing and spluttering were the second injector would normally cut in and it now revs clean to 11k and has 118bhp at the rw.
I would definately recommend ProVtwins for FIM chips they seem to know what works and what doesn't. |
