Although I've had the Supersonic Canary for over 4 months now, due to having crashed it at more or less the first bend I encountered after buying it, today is the first time I've actually ridden it on anything other than a motorway.
Low speed corners and small roundabouts are a bit of a nightmare because the throttle response it awful. It doesn't pick up instantly, and when it does pick-up, it coughs, splutters and generally makes life really awkward.
I know the 748Rs are known for this sort of thing, and that it can be fixed with an Ultimap chip, so I just thought I'd check that there wasn't one already installed (I had one fitted on my 996S, but I can't remember what it looked like) and also check that the chip is correct for the bike and exhaust set-up that I am running.
The bike is a 2002 748R running a 50mm Termi half-system.
