The times had a good write up today about how Honda gave up on the 2008 car really early and started working on the 2009 car, thus it was fully developed out of the box, hence 6 wins out of the first 7 races.
The times also says they spent about $500m, and gave another $100m to Brawn for 2009.......
You have to wonder if someone at Honda has been shot for quitting just when they were about to win !
Interestingly NO british F1 world champion has retained the title, when told this Jensen seemed to be up for the challenge..... |
