| Phil, I've fitted a reg/rect that can cope with all of the rigours of full loading from lights, battery charging etc etc...so for the application this is overkill !!
As you know the circuit prepared will have starting and battery charging to cope with.
The problem I have is the size of my reg/rect - it's too wide and overhangs the battery mount case substantially.
So it's not like yours, where it fits snugly within the width of the battery mount case, so I opted for the current position.
The joys of project building eh ! changes to the original arrangement are at times a necessity - even if not preferred ! |
