My Termi system arrived...

My full system for my 999S arrived last friday , so I spent quite a while locked away in the garage fitting it.

The pipe and silencer themselves were a doddle , it probably took 2 hours tops to take the standard stuff off and fit the new stuff........what a difference in weight , it must be at least 10kg

Next up the footrest spacer kit , 10 minutes , time for a cuppa

New air filters next , ok , so the top fairing has to come off too to get the air tubes off , filters changed , tubes back on , now the tricky bit , could the rubbers under the mirrors be any more fiddly ?

Last job , replace the ECU , right where is it ?........phone the shop , it's behind the battery box they say , ok , nope can't see it , take off the heat shield , ahh there it is...........about an hour and a half of working upside down in the dark with my arm bent the wrong way and the new ECU is in place and the battery and enclosure is all back where it should be.....now to press the key

Ahhhh , that's how a 999 should sound , makes it worth all the effort

The bike still has to go to the shop to make sure that everthing is set up right and the fuel mixture is correct but that will be only about a half hour labour instead of probably about 5 hours to do the lot , and I get a warm glow at having done it myself , happy bunny
