| fuel leak
thought i would go 4 a spin on my 05 999 on saturday. It started on the button, but strong smell of fuel, looked down towards the floor to see petrol ****ing out all over my exhaust.
Turned it off a bit smartish. on further inspection found both fuel pipes going into the tank at an angle. seems the little plastic clip had come off on one side allowing fuel to spray everywhere.
I dont know if anyone has experienced anything similar but worth checking, could be quite nasty if it happened while riding:O. |
