| It seems this is not a one off.
the previous owner of my 998 had it serviced, and noticed rubber bits coming out of the belt cover by the time he had got home. Got the bike recovered and the belts were shredding, exactly as you describe.
Dealer was in the Herts area, I forget which one now though.
I hope you get the bits to sort it out at a sensible price. |
