Big shout out for a cracking trackday...

ONce again, PHil Bevan Trackdays put on a great show for the lads down in the depths of Wales.

Track is really superb for a little flat thing.... i truely love it.

GSXR-Ian was having a lovely and safe day riding my 916 all day... RSVMAN actually went to a track and didn't come back in an ambulance once during the whole day (BONUS !!!!) and me, well i had a fantastic time, went a little quicker in a few sections than last time i was there, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Spent most of the day trying to break my worst habit, which is to use only the centre of the track. I'm still not hitting the edges yet, but the gap to the outside of track is down from 12' to about 3' now Believe me... it's a revelation to me
Trying to work on my turning in and getting it a little later too, as my frequent issue is turning in too early which really makes the day a lot more difficult.

The Kink at Pembrey before Honda is honestly one of the best corners in the UK, weird one.. but fantastic.. Hitting it in 5th at approx 9,000rpm, but still not having the balls to hold the throttle through it.... Coming into it at about God knows what speed, moving off the bike a little to hlep it turn and thinking "please turn bike... go on.... just for me"... and it does and you make it again ,.... PHEW !!!!

Jewell was FLYING out in inters on his TLS... and to be honest, looked like he was going to crash every lap into Honda curve.... then he did... but from chatting to him, it was just the bike that was hurt... and maybe the wallet...

The whole trip was a complete success, superbly run as usual, especially the friendly marshall on the gate how came over in the morning when we first went and shook hands, said hello and chatted to each and every rider... was a really nice touch

Anyone for some BBQ food ?
