| Just to let you all know. JR is on his way up to Queens medical centre, Nottingham as we speak. The original plan was to have moved him by air ambulance, however bad weather grounded the chopper today, so rather than delay things any longer, they set off by ambulance around lunchtime.
Various "powers" were striving to have the Notts air ambulance meet them en route and finish the journey by jellycopter as the road journey was going to be around 8 hours!
As yet I have not heard if this actually happened, but the man sounds in great spirits, despite having his head clamped in a vice for 5 days staring at the ceiling, and he's looking forward to being closer to his family.
I'll post more as I hear of it.
