Xaus ......2:07.0
So Ellison's 2:04.2 looks pretty good don't it
I'd assume that Ellison wouldn't have been out on qualifying tyres today, plus the day was stopped early for rain, so that could have caught a few out.
Qualifying for last year was...
Rossi .....2:02.4
Edwards 2:02.8
Elias ......2:03.3
Xaus ......2:04.0
So it looks like qualifying tyres are worth a second (unless you're Xaus)
I reckon Ellison has to be on Elias' pace, and he's quite good isn't he
Last of all, Ellison only saw Sepang for the first time at the 2005 race, as WCM never had the finances to test there pre season.
Oh yeah, and he's on DUNLOPS too!!!!
