I bought the motrax kit (which looks like the same one that Casoli sell) some time ago but haven't fitted it yet... I don't like the bulb mod, I'm guessing that I'll need a new plate to get the holes right and I don't 'get' how the bracket fit's the back end!
I'll see if I can find a 999 with this mod at Popham on Monday before I regect the idea completly
I had in mind that I would make up my own hanger that bolts onto the original mounting points under the can and use the standard plate carrier. That way I can keep the original number plate lamp
and get the thing up and out of the way. If I ever get round to it...
BTW, I had to remove the reflector on mine because the bracket ended up being bent completly round the back of the plate so it pointed forwards! It looks like the rear tyre has smacked it whilst on a
very bumpy road in the Massif Central.
