| I remember my Bro having a similar nightmare to come out in sympathy with you!
Cant remember it fully but I think his issue was due to some captive nuts becoming siezed on the long screws...I ended up ordering a new tail light for him.
Just read of a suggestion to go with an LED unit with indicators build in.
ANy details would be good.
