From those graphs I can see your logic, i'm just thinking futherdown the road, compared to the 996 the 998 engines have fairly mild cam timing and if I was going to get any tuning done at some point the cams would be high on the list of things to change. then the resulting increaased gas flow would require a higher flowing exhaust just like the 998S and the 998R has. As I'm starting without any exhaust bar a 50mm half system for my 916 ( could try modding the 748RS 54mm system I have) logical step would be to use eithe the 998 BP 45mm exhaust headers or the 998S 50mm headers and up pipe. |
